Associate Director of Content Development Laurie Bergeron (she/her) is the Associate Director of Content Development at Narcity Media where she leads the newsroom expansion with a focus on creativity. She joined the company in 2015 as a Content Manager to build the editorial division and develop the brand's audiences in Canada. She was Narcity's first Editor-in-Chief before being promoted to her recent title. Her leadership has led her to launch the site in over 20 cities across North America, produce original video series, as well as oversee viral social media strategies. Prior to working at Narcity, she was a Content Producer at Le Journal de Montréal, one of Quebec's biggest local news outlets. She is also an author. Her first self-development book was published in Quebec, Canada, in the fall of 2019. Laurie studied Communications and Marketing at l'Université du Québec à Montréal, in the city where she was born and raised. Narcity Media brought her to live in between Toronto, Vancouver, and New York. She currently resides in Montreal. When she is not working or spending time with her family, she is binge-watching YouTube vlogs or saving places to visit on Pinterest.
