This Tasty Dallas Shop Serves The Most Delicious Mexican Street Treats
Mexican treats always bring things to the next level. From adding tons of fresh fruit to chopped up hot Cheetos, the desserts and snacks prove that more is better and this Mexican shop proves just that. El Norteño in Dallas brings amazing creations to the streets of Dallas, with elote like you wouldn't believe. Some of their creations use Cheetos in unexpected fashions and the result is a delicious treat.
One of their most famous creations is the Chelotes which are elotes that have just about everything you can imagine with added layers of Hot Cheetos and then filled to the brim with Hot Cheetos dust. Another one of their creations is a michelada with hot Mexican candies and slices of mango covered in chili powder.
They also have the two face which is half elote and half ground Cheetos in a cup. The shop has a way of adding their own twist including making special micheladas in jars.
When they aren't making some crazy amazing elotes, you can expect them to have $1.50 lunch tacos that can be made with pork, chicken, or steak. When they're not in their main shop, you might see them stationed at Four Corners Brewing with their elote cart ready for action.
Their elote creations normally start at around $3 and work their way up to about $6 depending on which treat you choose to get. El Norteño is open from noon to 10 p.m. on weekends.
