Infamous Texans Bonnie Parker & Clyde Barrows' relationship still keeps many people intrigued.
Whether it be for the total trust they had in one another or the actual crimes they committed together, to this day, the pair tends to capture anyone's attention.
After running from city to city across the Midwest most of the time during their two-year crime spree — which included bank robberies and violent shootouts, to name a few — both now rest in their beloved home state of Texas.
Where are the real Bonnie and Clyde buried?
An interesting fact most Texans don't know is that both Bonnie and Clyde's burial sites are in Dallas, Texas.
Clyde Barrow's gravestone can be found in the Western Heights Cemetery, while Bonnie Parker was laid to rest in Crown Hill Memorial Park after being moved from her original burial site in West Dallas' Fish Trap Cemetery due to reoccurring vandalism.
After all, when you're notorious for committing bank robberies, either people love you or hate you.
The sites weren't able to be accessed by the public until 2014, which was the year of the 80th anniversary of the couple's dramatic death.
How did Bonnie and Clyde get caught?
In 1932, the Federal Bureau of Investigation caught onto the criminal couple's scent when they found a stolen car that contained information leading to Barrow's aunt.
The investigation was a two-year manhunt that finalized with the FBI tracking them down in a small Louisiana town in 1934.
It was in this place where the authorities, who were hiding in bushes, saw Bonnie & Clyde attempt to drive away, but they were instantly shot and killed by officers.
Why were Bonnie and Clyde not buried together?
Though relatively close to one another, the partners are still quite a few miles apart in completely different cemeteries at the insistence of Bonnie's mother.
Back in 2018, WFAA reported that the couple's families both wish for the two to be laid next to each other, but nothing has since changed ever since.
Both individuals get visitors quite frequently, and if you're up for the exploration, you can visit both on the same day since they're only nine miles apart.
